Here is pictures of my vintage Pifco metal torch that my Dad found in a warehouse thing. It's still going.
Uses 2 C batteries, red switch is for making the light flashing, yellow switch turns it on.
I believe from the 1960s. Feels and looks like tinned beans. It will be around 15cm in length and the top screws off for battery and read "PIFCO EMPIRE MADE" on the top. Hook or handle for hanging/carring in the top of it. 3 switch mode of OFF / FLASHING LIGHT / ON. small red switch for flashing light. Large silver switch to set torch working mode. Pifco also made various other electric items, lamps, trourser press, a variety of fans, window extract , hair dryer and beauty machining, machine needle gage , boiler etc.
