    Homart window fan

I just picked up this Homart last Friday. The cord looks to have been replaced by Frankenstein. What gauge wire should I use to replace it? Looks to be two different cords and I know one is for an electric lamp.

I'd say 16 gauge wire should be fine.

That is my holy grail of fans I hope to find one day
Alas I don't have room for such a large fan
Also if the motor draws 10A or less you can safely use 18AWG, I would use a grounded 3-wire power cord remember to put the switch on the hot side.
